Bible in a Year Reading Plan

In 2017, God encouraged me to read the entire bible in chronological order. I hadn't read the entire bible before so I was excited to read some of the stories that many of my friends grew up learning about.
The best thing I learned in 2017 was that God is the same yesterday and today. We serve the same God in the Old and New Testament.
I always thought that God was harsh or wrathful in the Old Testament. I learned that He was wrathful in the Old Testament but also He is wrathful in the New Testament and today.
I also thought the New Testament was just for Him to show us his grace. I learned that he showed grace in the Old Testament and he shows grace today.
God is the same God yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
Your faithfulness endures to all generations; you have established teh earth, and it stands fast. Psalm 119:90
