Dear Younger Me

As I listen to Mercy Me's song (Dear Younger Me) and reflect on all of the regrets in my life it only makes sense to write a letter to myself. Honestly, I do have SO many regrets and experiences I wish I did not have in my younger years. I know that God put every situation everything that went unsaid for a reason. But if I could do it all over again, this is what I would say...
Age 8: You're beautiful. Believe it. It is not always necessary to have someone in your life to tell you those things, sometimes you just need to believe it on your won.
Age 10: You are not always going to be the "fat kid." No matter what anyone tells you. Love yourself and eat what you want.
Age 13: Keep the good friends in your life, especially the ones that will remind you of your beauty. Your true beauty. There is no need to hold onto the friends that don't want you.
Age 14: Be nice to mom. She is the only one that is going to be there for you through everything.
Age 15: STOP BEING SO STINKING BOY CRAZY! Why can't you just live your life and not worry about that? You have your whole life.
Age 16: That friend is not worth the heartache, there are better ones out there. Wait and see what comes of your friends in college.
Age 18: Woman, it is called a gym. I promise it will improve all mental health.
Age 20: Can you please show a little respect for others? Love others like Christ loves you.
Age 21: Get off Tinder, you're amazing without a man. Know your truth worth that comes from the Lord. Men can't give it to you. Don't let a bad relationship into your life that is not going to be healthy.
I am only 22 and there are more things that I wish I could take back, but God put all these things in our lives because he loves us enough to teach us lessons. But one thing I have learned, he will be there for us when we are rock bottom. I mean like on the ground, heart broken, don't know if you can get up... kind of rock bottom.
